On his first day in Churchill, he went on a dogsled excursion with David Daley, of Wapusk Adventures, and fell in love with the dogs and never left. Working with Daley, he learned everything about caring and training sled dogs becoming a competitive musher himself. With three years under his belt, he started to breed and train his own team of dogs, and prepare to return to his home in Saint John the only way he wanted to do it, with his dogs. With his Cree fiancé Danielle Sinclair and his Churchill friend Phil DeSilva as crew support, he and his twelve dogs set out on the 3,500 km, three month journey through the tundra, over and around Hudson Bay, down through Quebec, and into New Brunswick. Facing the bitter cold of the arctic winter and into the melting snow of spring, Justin, his dogs and his crew faced many obstacles requiring on the spot adaptation and ingenuity.

At the game Tom and Grace are quite despondent when the game stands 2 to 0 in favor of the enemy in the last inning. With two men on bases, Hal Chase knocks a home run and excitement reigns supreme. The home team has now won the pennant and Tom has won his bride. When he calls to present Grace with the ring Hal drops in on them and is heartily congratulated by the grateful fans.

"That's my suit - take it off," growled Cherry Blossom, one of We boys, to Ambrose, just as Ambrose was about to kiss Nell. This enraged Ambrose beyond repair, and he swore vengeance against the sassy gink, so that the next day at the baseball tournament Ambrose hit the bean-ball right square into a paste-board sign, enabling him to walk home several times, and winning for himself the enmity of Cherry Blossom, the love of his sweetheart and the $500 reward which he used to yank the mortgage off the old homestead. The wedding bells will ring yet.
